Automated Check-Ins

Every worker accounted for, on a schedule you set once.

Set recurring check-in windows for a person or a team and the rest runs itself — a message when a check is due, a one-tap “I’m safe”, and a grace window and gentle nudge before anything ever escalates. No app for your workers to install.

How automated check-ins work

From “check due” to “confirmed safe”

Four steps, all automatic. You only hear about it if someone genuinely goes quiet.

1

Build a check-in schedule

In the console you create a schedule for a worker or a team: the check-in windows (say 10:00 and 16:00 on weekdays), which channel to use — SMS, email or an AI voice call — a grace period, and the escalation contacts to alert if a check is missed. It then runs on its own on a reliable background schedule.

2

The worker gets their check

When a window opens, the worker is sent a check-in. With self-check-in they first get a reminder text carrying their persistent one-tap link — the same /c/ link every time, so there is nothing to install and nothing to log in to. They simply confirm they’re safe.

3

One tap: “I’m safe” — or “I need help”

“I’m safe” closes the check and logs it — with the worker’s location captured at the tap for the audit trail. A reply by SMS works too: our interpreter reads it and, because it fails safe, anything that isn’t clearly “I’m fine” is treated as distress and escalated. “I need help” raises an instant alert.

Location is only captured when they tap — never continuous tracking
4

Grace window, a nudge, then escalation

Miss the moment and nothing dramatic happens: the grace window absorbs a busy shift, then a reminder nudge goes out. Only if it stays open does the system retry on the worker’s channel and, still with no reply, hand over to the escalation ladder to reach real people.

Why teams rely on it

Cover that fits around real work

Nothing for workers to install

A check-in arrives as an SMS, email or the same persistent web link — one tap and they’re back to work. No app store, no password, no training.

A grace window, not an alarm

A busy shift is never interrupted. The grace window and a reminder nudge come first — escalation only fires when a worker has genuinely gone quiet.

Every check is evidence

Each check sent, reply, nudge and location is timestamped and stored — the duty-of-care record you can export whenever you need to show it.
